Important vestige of the Capetians Palace, which 4 towers dominate the Seine, the Conciergerie is the testimony of the civil architecture of the XIVth century in Paris. Its Gothic rooms, dating the same period, were strikingly preserved. This most former prison of France was Marie - Antoinette's last house under the Revolution.
