The museum is located in one of the most beautiful 30’s monuments in Paris, in the heart of an inescapable touristic area. It is one of the two most important museums dedicated to Navy in the world, regarding to its age and to the plurality of its collections: French maritime history and history of those who crossed the seas: exploratory, merchants, seamen, soldiers or pirates… Located in front of the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars, it offers one of the vastest panoramic view on Paris.
