Guided visits and demonstrations
From Tuesday till Sunday, the demonstrators make discover to the individual public seven domains of the museum and the chapel thanks to thematic visits (45 minutes), demonstrations (25 minutes) and general visits (1 hour and a half).
Intended for an individual public, the visits are free (included in the price of the admission ticket) and accessible without preliminary booking.
The Arts et Métiers Museum proposes workshops for individual visitors from 7 to 12 years old and family workshops. These activities aim at making discover the step of the technical innovation and the invention to resolve problems of current life.
Workshops
In the workshop for individual visitors, the discovery comes along with a visit in the museum to appreciate the realized objects, and aim at integrating this step into the technical, economic and human context of the period to understand(include) the choices of the pioneer, the reasons of the success or the economic failure of the invention.
A workshop lasts 2 hours and a half, every Wednesday at 2:30 pm.
Saturday: possibility of booking for groups (family workshop, birthday, etc.)
In Family workshops, children (from 7 years old) and parents manipulate and make an object they will take away. Those workshops last 1 hour and a half.
