The Rodin museum collects sculptures, drawings, paintings, engravings of the artist.
The Rodin museum also joins to the other museums of Paris to propose courses which enrich the vision on the work of Rodin and allow placing him in the history of the sculpture.
Rodin museum – Picasso museum: The visit of museums, located in two remarkable Parisian mansions, allows to put in evidence the existing links between the works of these artists who had very asserted personalities.
Tuileries Garden - Rodin museum garden: Expose the sculpture outdoors. A course to approach and compare the exhibition of sculptures outdoors, the classic statuary in the contemporary creation, in the gardens of two Parisian buildings.
The museum proposes tours conducted by a speaker.
Visits for adults :
- Adults in individual: Duration 1 hour and a half. Entrance and conference fees on booking to the Rodin museum except opposite mention.
- Visit conference: Every Wednesday at 2.30 pm, general presentation of collections, by a speaker of the museum and within the limits of 25 persons: free conference without booking.
Exceptional conferences, on Sundays at 11 am:
Rodin and the Cambodian dancers: His last passion: in June 11th and 25th.
- Visit conference: a speaker of the museum presents the work and the universe of the sculptor within the framework of the hotel Biron in Paris or of the villa des Brillants in Meudon. Different thematic can be notably approached in contact with the programming of the temporary exposures and the exhibitions - files.
Visits for children: 10 activities are proposed for children from 4 to 12 years old: visit of the museum, games, reports, discovery of the sculpture, creation of a museum.
For all those activities, a booking is required.
