This museum, located right in the heart of Paris, presents you the personal collection of Picasso, which collects works of his friends (Braque, Matisse, Miro, Derain), of masters whom he admired (Cézanne, The Customs officer Rousseau, Degas, Le Nain), as well as primitive works. The Picasso museum proposes numerous activities intended for the adult public. Visits of the permanent collection are organized with speakers in group or in individual. One Saturday by month, the national Rodin and Picasso museums join to propose a day dedicated to both artists. The same speaker comments both visits. According to dates, the temporary exposure can be also presented.
The Picasso museum also proposes activities intended for the children on “Sunday Parents - Children": your children with a speaker and you with the other one (at 11:00 am or at 3:00 pm), will discover at the same time the permanent collection, unless you prefer to stay in the group of the children. On Wednesday, it is children afternoon: accompanied by a speaker, children (6 - 10 years old) and yourself if you wish, will leave in the discovery of the architecture of the Salé Hotel and the works of Picasso, with for vital lead, the representation of animals. (September to June)
